Con un record di voti favorevoli, è stato eletto presidente del Parlamento greco, Zoe Konstantopoulou. A 298 deputati hanno partecipato alla votazione a scrutinio segreto, ha ricevuto 235 'sì', 61 'bianco' e due nulle.
A favore di Mr. Konstantopoulou - proporre SYRIZA e ANEL - aveva parteggiato PASOK e ND.
Sembra, tuttavia, che un certo numero di deputati ha preferito il 'bianco', dal momento che, altrimenti, sarebbe raccogliere 251 voti positivi.

Greece: a new program or a reprofiling of IMF loans needed quickly
The ECB’s decision to end the collateral waiver on marketable instruments issued or guaranteed by the Greek government focussed attention on the funding needs of the Greek banks. But, this decision by the ECB was not as critical as it might have appeared at first blush. The ECB has not cut Greek banks off from central bank funding, but rather has shifted that funding from the central MRO/LTRO/TLTRO operations to the local ELA (emergency liquidity assistance). The local ELA is more expensive than the MRO/LTRO/TLTRO operations, but Greek banks will continue to be funded.
Of far more importance, in our view, is the funding need of the government. Despite a small primary surplus—which might itself be slipping away due to reduced tax payments—the Greek government faces significant interest and amortization payments over the next few months. At some point it will be unable to meet these obligations. It is hard to know exactly when that will happen—the cash flow position of the government is unclear and arrears can always increase as a way of creating room for manoeuvre—but it is likely to be well before the end of May when the new Greek government hopes to conclude the negotiations on a new program.
It seems clear that the Greek government recognises this and has spoken of a temporary bridge-loan and an increase in Treasury bill issuance. Neither of these is likely, in our view. There is no institutional mechanism to provide a temporary bridge loan to Greece. The only option would be a set of bilateral loans which would need to go through national parliamentary approval processes. And increased Treasury bill issuance is only feasible if the Greek banks are able to fund their purchases of Treasury bills at the central bank. The ECB will not countenance this as it looks like backdoor monetary financing for a sovereign that doesn’t have market access and isn’t in a functioning program.
It looks like the only ways that the Greek government can avoid default and get through to the end of May is to either conclude the existing EFSF program and agree on a new one or negotiate a reprofiling of the IMF SBA liabilities due in the coming months. If IMF obligations through end May were reprofiled, that would ease the cash flow pressure on the government by over €3 bn.
All this suggests that the clock is ticking pretty quickly. The government’s attempt to gather support outside Germany looks to have failed: the rest of the region looks pretty united in its approach to Greece and it doesn’t look like it is softening its stance. As we have already argued, most of the compromises will need to come on the Greek side. It could be argued that this process has already begun, but there is a long way to go. While debt has grabbed the headlines, there are many other areas of disagreement, including fiscal objectives, surveillance, privatisations, public sector reform and structural reform. Next week sees a Eurogroup meeting on Wednesday 11th ahead of an EU Heads of State Summit on Thursday 12th. There is a lot to talk about and not a lot of time.

Parlando a radio Vima ha detto: "So quello che dice il programma dichiarato di SYRIZA, il quale ha vinto le elezioni e che il partito dice, le persone con cui ho discutere mezzi. Questo lo so. Che SYRIZA respinge totalmente l'atto costitutivo e che cosa significa. "
Come l'economista ha detto, quando gli viene chiesto se ritiene che il signor Varoufakis è fuori linea, ha negato e ha aggiunto: "Io valuto quello che sta succedendo e quello che dicono il programma e le decisioni ...."
Alla domanda su cosa volesse dire Mr. Varoufakis ha risposto "Non so esattamente come intendeva il signor Varoufakis. Chiedetevi e mi chiedo, quando lo vedo. "
Inoltre caratterizzato Memorandum "situazione inaccettabile" e stimato che avrebbe dovuto smettere di forza. "Ecco perché sono stato eletto con Syriza", ha spiegato.
Infine ha sottolineato "Io non l'ho visto respinto un totale di SYRIZA dovrebbe essere una riduzione del debito profonda o addirittura visto cambiare le posizioni programmatiche. Dico come economista e come membro di Syriza eletto. "

si se guardiamo al bilancio contabile;
ma se guardiamo il bilancio sociale, forse questo è stato molto alto (% di povertà, % di disoccupazione, sanità allo sfascio) per recuperare ancora troppo poco.
forse occorreva accompagnare un rientro contabile con una situazione sociale un poco più accettabile?
