"WASHINGTON (MF-DJ)--La Federal Reserve ha preso delle misure esecutive
nei confronti della divisione statunitense di Banco Santander, accusata di
aver distribuito dividendi nonostante il mancato superamento degli stress
test di marzo.
In particolare, l'autorità ha imposto alla banca l'obbligo di richiedere
l'approvazione regolamentare prima di annunciare o di pagare dividendi. Il
consiglio di amministrazione ha ora 30 giorni di tempo per sottoporre alla
Banca centrale un piano organizzativo con cui dimostra di avere il
controllo sul pagamento dei dividendi.
Santander Holdings era soggetta a restrizioni sui piani di capitale dopo
non aver superato i test del supervisore per ragioni prevalentemente
qualitative. È la prima volta che la Fed adotta misure esecutive contro le
banche per effetto dei risultati degli stress test."
Mi chiedo a questo punto: le altre pref di santander fin sul mercato sospenderanno il pagamento dei dividendi?
