le porte Netbios da Comodo etc devono essere gia' blocked di default in incoming ..l'utente semmai deve agire a mano sui settaggi per sbloccarle altrimenti che firewall e'?

che firewall e' Comodo etc se lascia passare in incoming di default le porte Netbios ??

altri servizi di sistema in listen automatico su tcp/ip port su XP nn ce ne sono

e nemmeno firewall software alternativi a quelllo di XP come Comodo etc etc fanno passare di default in incoming Tcp/ip port relative a servizi in listen su XP ( come Netbios )altrimenti non sarebbero firewall ma eclatanti boiate

nn e' che sono convinto..sono fatti...altrimenti un firewall alternativo a quello di Xp appena installato non e' un firewall ma un groviera coi buconi da dove entrano le pantegane

This makes the severity Low for Windows XP. Servers are a more likely target for this attack, and your firewall should provide additional protections against external exploits. Windows XP is not affected by CVE-2009-1925

la domanda è:
se si usa XP e non si usa il suo firewall integrato (perchè scrauso) ma un firewall di terze parti si è coperti da questo bug?

Se non usi il firewall integrato XP che copre da questo bug allora è chi produce il sw di terze parti che usi che dovrebbe fornirti protezione contro questo exploit

mi sembra quindi chiarissimo che i firewall di terze parti non coprono dal bug MS09-048 e che Windows passa la palla agli altri ....
