Purtroppo funziona diversamente dai titoli normali.
Se un titolo sale...lo si vende e si porta a casa il gain.
Ma se è l'oro a salire, forse bisogna ricordarsi il perchè lo si è comprato (fisicamente e non cartaceo per tradarlo)
Se lo si è comprato per eventi imprevedibili...il fatto che stia salendo può voler dire che il mercato sente l'avvicinarsi di eventi imprevedibili e quindi non ha molto senso venderlo.
Non lo so, magari lo avessi in carico da 800/900$ e non da 1040$ lo avrei già venduto
E soprattutto...se arrivasse a 1300$ ? Solo Stockuccio può fermarmi

A capire quanto del valore dell'oro è dato dal timore di crolli e quanto dal fatto che ci si specula sopra come sull'equity, l'oil, il gas e tutto il resto...
Ricordatevi che le economie emergenti, Cina compresa, hanno riserve aurifere irrisorie, e poco per volta (per non fare esplodere il prezzo) le stanno incrementando.

Per comprare oro fisico (ed Ag) io uso gli ETF gold bullion (e Physical silver), tu cosa usi?
Concordo sul fatto che l'impostazione tecnica è ancora al rialzo, anche se non è pensabile che possa tenere questo ritmo.

io che c'entro ? segui Kylix che è preveggente
Guarda che caso! Il mio primo acq. è stato un lingottino da 500gr.( è incredibile quanto sia piccolo e quanto pesi) a 500$ l'oncia, e quello che me l'ha venduto (un amico che lavora per 8853) mi ha detto: " Ma tu sei pazzo! Siamo sui massimi"....
P.S. Comunque io mi riferivo al fatto che questi analisti stanno dicendo cose giuste ma che pensavo scontate.

ciao, da quello che ho letto nel prospetto degli ETC non stai comprando oro fisico, ma compri carta che attesta che da qualche parte c'è oro fisico.
Infatti nei documenti c'è scritto che si è comunque esposti a dei rischi.
Per chi vuole comprare oro non per trading, ma per coprirsi da rischi l'unica strada è quella di comprare oro fisico da detenere "sotto il materasso".

. The value of Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities will be affected by movements in the US dollar price of gold, which may fluctuate widely. . At any time, the price at which the Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities trade on the London Stock Exchange or on any other exchange to which they may be admitted to trading from time to time may not reflect accurately the price of gold represented by such Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities.
. For any redemptions in cash, the Company will be relying on the credit of the Approved Counterparty to that transaction. If any Approved Counterparty fails to settle such trade, the Company’s obligation to pay shall be reduced by the amount of the deficiency in payment
received from the Approved Counterparty.
. All Secured Gold will be held by the Custodian in its vaults in London or in the vaults of a subcustodian appointed by the Custodian or by a delegate of a sub-custodian. Access to such gold could be restricted by natural events, such as an earthquake, or human actions, such as a terrorist attack. The Custodian has no obligation to insure such gold against loss, theft or damage and the Company does not intend to insure against such risks. Accordingly, there is a risk that the Secured Gold could be lost, stolen or damaged and the Company would not be able to satisfy its obligations in respect of the Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities.
. There are certain circumstances in which an early redemption of Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities may be imposed on investors, which may result in an investment in Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities being redeemed earlier than desired.
. The Company may be required by the rules of an exchange (other than the London Stock Exchange) to which the Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities are admitted to trading to have a minimum number of markets makers. If a market maker ceases to act as market maker and a replacement cannot be found and as a result the Company cannot meet the minimum requirement, the relevant exchange may require the Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities to cease trading.
