IMF Raises $430 Billion To Fend Off Future Problems
QUESTA è LA NOTIZIA CHE GIRA OGGI SUI GIORNALI, IN REALTA' AHIME' LA NOTIZIA E' MOLTO DIFFERENTE...BASTA LEGGERE CON ATTENZIONE E SI SCOPRE CHE: L'lnternational Monetary Fund ha raccolto 430 miliardi di dollari per cercare di far fronte alla crisi europea del debito. L'annuncio è del direttore del IMF Christine Lagarde ed è stato fatto questa notte durante i lavori del G20. La Lagarde ha confermato che i rappresentanti dei paesi.."ricchi" come Cina, Russia India e Brasile hanno preso impegni (private commitments) a partecipare al fondo (ma non vogliono rendere pubblico l'ammontare...una barzelleta...ma andiamo avanti...)
Lagarde called the fundraising a "huge effort" that would increase the current $485 billion in funds available for loans to a figure above $1 trillion.
Lagarde said the extra resources would create to the stability of the global economy. Finance officials hope that the sizable increase in IMF resources will reassure financial markets that there will be a backstop should another, larger European country get into trouble in repaying its government debts.
Already three European nations — Greece, Ireland and Portugal — have been forced to accept IMF rescue packages along with sizable bailout support from other nations using the euro currency. But the concern is that Spain and Italy, much larger economies, are now facing economic difficulties. If either of those nations needed rescue packages, the costs would be far higher than what has been raised so far.

MA LA VERA NOTIZIA E' LA SEGUENTE:
1) i 430 miliardi sono stati raccolti fra 188 nazioni che partecipano all'IMF, MA GLI STATI UNITI E IL CANADA HANNO DECISO DI NON PARTECIPARE (ANCHE SE SONO FRA I MEMBRI PIU' IMPORTANTI DEL FONDO..E HANNO DIRITTO DI VETO). La spiegazione data è che vogliono che L'EUROPA faccia di piu' !!!
2) Alla riunione del G20 gli Stati uniti erano presenti con Bernanke e Geithner, ovvero con i loro massimi rappresentanti.
3)L'inghilterra darà altri 10 miliardi di sterline al FMI, ma in realtà, il parlamento inglese e la popolazione potrebbero essere contrari (Telegraph) The Chancellor is braced for a political backlash against the move, which was condemned by some Conservative MPs, at a time of unprecedented public spending cuts and a squeeze on family finances. Mr Osborne has repeatedly pledged not to use British money to bail out the euro. He is now facing accusations that the IMF funds are an indirect way of helping to prop up the beleaguered single currency. The contribution means every household has a
potential liability equivalent to more than £1,600 to help rescue troubled

Il premier olandese Mark Rutte ha confermato in conferenza stampa che il negoziato tra la coalizione di governo e i suoi alleati per un piano di austerity di 16 miliardi di euro è fallito. Il fallimento dei negoziati apre la strada a elezioni anticipate. I colloqui per la definizione di un pacchetto di misure di austerity erano stati avviati il 5 marzo scorso e nei programmi i negoziati avrebbero dovuto durare non più di tre settimane.
