Argentina's main opposition party held leads in the country's capital city and the important province of Buenos Aires in legislative primary elections on Sunday, early results showed, indicating a strong challenge to the ruling Peronist coalition.
The conservative opposition party Together for Change held a strong lead in the city where it has a big support base, but more importantly was leading in the provincial race with 38.2% ahead of the ruling Front for All party with 33.65%.
That was with around 85% of votes counted in the city and around 54% of votes tallied in the province. RTRS
