Ciarpame mediatico, pieno di contraddizioni. Ufficialmente la Commissione ha dichiarato che non è in programma l'uscita dall'euro di nessun paese, nè nel 2012 e nemmeno più tardi.
Infatti,
"In Brussels, Commission spokesman Olivier Bailly stated on Tuesday that right now it is paramount for the PSI+ talks to be concluded so that the eurozone and the International Monetary Fund can reach an agreement with the Greek authorities on the new loan contract. In an effort to put an end to circulating rumors, Bailly noted that there is no “intention or plan” for a member state to drop out of the eurozone in 2012 or later."

Ma quando mai la commissione o chi per lei dirà ufficialmente che " è in programma" l' uscita dall'euro di qualcuno...ma dai

I greci dovevano salutare e andarsene dall' euro due anni fa invece che credere ai finti salvataggi europei che li hanno portati nella carestia africana.
Invece son rimasti...bel risultato.
Se ne dovranno uscire comunque, presto o tardi, a meno che qualche benefattore disinteressato non gli paghi definitivamente tutti i debiti .
Ma forse ora non basterebbe nemmeno quello per risollevare la disastrata economia residuale greca.

Austrian magazine names G. Papandreou as “Man of the Year”



Renowned Austrian political and financial news magazine “Profil” has named the former Greek PM and current president of the PASOK party George Papandreou “Man of the Year” for 2011.

The 2nd January issue included an interview of Papandreou, in which the former Greek PM blames the EU for allowing the Greek debt crisis to reach its current state.

Mr. Papandreou expressed his belief that the EU shares responsibility for the Greek debt, repeating how the conservative Karamanlis government of 2004 had passed a bill, according to which, the defense expenditures would not appear on the current budget but retrospectively on older budgets.

In his interview to “Profil”, the PASOK president seems satisfied with his work while being PM, noting that Greece could have been bankrupt today but this scenario was avoided by his government and that is making him feel proud.

When asked about his future plans, Mr. Papandreou did not rule out the possibility of him claiming once again the PM office but promised that he would reveal his plans very soon.

Ovvero se uno ZC con scadenza 23/3/2012 quotasse 97 allora il valore dei bond 20/3/2012 tasso 5,5% dovrebbe essere almeno 99 e non 49.
