Cmq indipendentemente che sono short o long;qundo il Nasdaq ti fà un massmo da 3 anni a questa parte e poi ripiega,da quel pò che ho imparato in 20 anni,non inizia mai una discesa forte senxa aver titestato quella resistenza,il classico doppio massimo,quindi anche ad Stm se si dovessero avverare le previsioni di Antonio gli manca un 16,38,quindi adesso aspettiamoci un minimo senza volumi intorno ai 15/15,10,risalita o rally di Natale fino a 16 e rotti e poi prepariamoci x la befana .

PARIS/LONDON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston
may be holding millions of euros worth of shares in
Franco-Italian chipmaker STMicroelectronics on Friday
which it bought from France Telecom with a view to sell on,
bankers say.
Rival bankers and fund managers in London and Paris said
Credit Suisse First Boston had bought 30 million shares, worth
close to 500 million euros ($670 million) and representing 3.3
percent of STM , from France Telecom and
attempted to sell them on at as much as 15.75 euros each.
Rival bankers said the block of shares had been auctioned
off by France Telecom on Thursday night. They said that CSFB was
likely to have paid around 15.50 euros per share, given that
other banks had bid at or near this level and been rejected.
Despite a strong earnings update from global chip
heavyweight Intel Corp. , a sector rally failed to carry
the STM stock to the price CSFB needed to make a profit.
"They (CSFB) tried to sell at 15.75 because they thought
that they would be helped by Intel's good earnings numbers. That
backfired," said one fund manager.
"Had they tried at 15.6 they would have just managed to get
it away," he added.
Fund managers said that the bank had sold some of the stock
but was left holding on to part of the stake.
A CSFB spokeswoman in London declined to comment. CSFB is
the investment banking arm of Credit Suisse Group
"I had a look at it but I was not interested at the price,"
said a German-based fund manager, who asked not to be named.
"If they had done it at a little discount to yesterday's
closing price, I'm pretty sure it would have gone through in a
couple of hours."
LARGE BLOCK
STM shares closed at 15.32 euros in Paris, up 0.7 from
Thursday's close of 15.21 euros and well off the day's high of
15.63 euros.
Another hedge fund manager said CSFB had bought the stock at
an estimated 15.6 euros from France Telecom, sold some 10
million shares down to 15.5 euros and was left "wearing" the
rest, meaning it was unable to find buyers for them.
While CSFB may be sitting on STM stock, it may be able to
trade out of its position at a later date, if the share price
goes higher. STM is a very liquid stock. The 30 million shares
is only 1-1/2 days trading volume, according to one trader.
Many banks accept the risk of taking on a large block of
shares with the expectation they can sell them on at a later
date, when the price rises.
The bank will also have been paid a fee for its work, which
will mitigate potential losses.
European equity capital markets have become an increasingly
competitive field, with banks frequently bidding aggressive
prices for large blocks of shares.
Many banks have been caught out. Most recently, banking
sources said that Morgan Stanley , Citigroup and JP
Morgan were left holding shares from a large sale of
Deutsche Telekom stock. It is unclear whether the
banks managed to sell the shares on in the following weeks.
CSFB is known for its expertise in technology stocks, but
had not been seen as an aggressive bidder for this type of
business this year, rival bankers said.
Meanwhile, France Telecom cheered its part of the deal with
a statement confirming it had sold to a single buyer the 30
million STM shares, which represent all of its freely
transferable stake in Europe's largest chipmaker. It did not
give a price.
France Telecom sold the stock under a "bought deal" practice
that allows the original seller to raise cash and transfers the
risk of marketing the shares onwards to an intermediary.

IN CINA ci sono solo 150.000.000 di telefonini attualmente.
In effetti e' anche molto probabile che stia caricando per una bella sparata all' insu', ma per farla salire ci vogliono soldi veri, mentre per farla scendere pasta vendere allo scoperto e questo i grossi calibri lo sanno fare molto bene perche' tanto nessuno li controlla. Si decide tutto quando sapremo il prezzo di ritiro del 10,3% di CDP.
E se fosse sotto i 15 ?
Aggiungo che se qualcuno non lo ha notato e' improvvisamente calato, non il silenzio, ma un pietrone colossale sui RISCATTI DEI FONDI COMUNI ITALIANI SPECIE QUELLI AZIONARI. La mia conclusione e' che se non entrano nuovi soldi in borsa e se non c' e' una fortissima rotazione di settore dai petroliferi ai tecnologici il mercato non puo' che continuare a essere laterale per poi scendere. Il pertrolio e' sceso sicuramente ma era partito da 30 $ all' inizio anno. Quindi non vedo nessun FONDAMENTALE che giustifichi un mercato TORO perche' questo stanno iniziando a dire tutti i MEDIA. Questo mercato TORO per di piu' indicato dai media ci sara' piu' avanti, l' anno prossimo quando in Iraq, Palestina la situazione sara' piu' tranquilla e il $ forse risalira' un pochetto MA IO PRIMA VEDO UN BELLO STORNO VISTO CHE SIAMO A FINE ANNO. Se mi sbaglio pazienza. Sono curioso di sapere chi compra a questi prezzi e cosa.
