Aggiornamento delle 3.40
Nel corso dell’ultimo aggiornamento del Comitato Operativo, il Comitato tecnico scientifico ha escluso la possibilità che uno o più frammenti del satellite UARS cadano sul territorio italiano.
Di conseguenza, il Capo Dipartimento della Protezione civile – Commissario delegato, con l’accordo unanime di tutti i componenti del Comitato Operativo e dei Centri di coordinamento delle Regioni interessate, alle ore 3.40, dopo l’ultimo sorvolo del nostro Paese, ha dichiarato concluse le attività del Comitato stesso.
Aggiornamento delle ore 1.30
Nel corso dell’ultimo aggiornamento del Comitato Operativo, il Comitato tecnico scientifico, sulla base dell’ultimo bollettino emesso dall’Istituto Isti del Cnr per nome e conto dell’Agenzia Spaziale Italiana ha comunicato che la previsione di rientro del satellite UARS è centrata intorno alle 6.40 (ora italiana) di sabato 24 settembre, con una finestra di incertezza che si apre alle 4.40 e si chiude alle 8.30.
Considerato l'intervallo orario di interesse per l'Italia, compreso tra le 3.34 e le 4.12, al momento è da escludere la possibilità che uno o più frammenti del satellite cadano sul territorio del nostro Paese.
Tuttavia il Comitato Operativo continuerà a monitorare l’evoluzione della situazione in stretto raccordo con le strutture di coordinamento attivate in tutte le regioni interessate, fino al termine della finestra d'interesse per l'Italia.
Il prossimo aggiornamento sarà pubblicato alle ore 4.30 di sabato 24 settembre.
