Athens Stocks Move Nervously
Greek market appears very cautious on Monday, as the General Index moves between profits and losses, while the trading volume remains at low levels.
Banks recorded early losses of 2.9%, with National Bank breaking August lows, while OPAP and Ellaktor top FTSE20 with profits of 4.44% and 6.08% respectively.
Eurobank Equities expects the market to maintain its negative bias in anticipation of more clarity regarding the ongoing discussions with the Troika and the release of the next tranche, while Piraeus Securities expects another difficult session.
Moreover, Beta Securities speaks of limited interest and uncertainty in the market.
On the board, the General Index is at 798.33 units, with marginal profits of 0.05%, after early losses of 1.21%. So far, approximately 8.4 million units of total value €14.5 million traded, while a total amount of 40 shares rise, 37 retreat and 21 remain unchanged.
Banks move into negative territory, since opening, currently at 469.77 units, with losses of 0.82%.
