Annuncio la mia candidatura a moderatore per le prossime elezioni.

Ho riflettuto a lungo su questa decisione, perchè come molti altri so già che purtroppo non avrò molto tempo da dedicare a questa importante attività. Ritengo però che in questo momento sia assolutamente necessario, se si vuole mantenere in vita questo libero spazio di discussione, essere disposti a sporcarsi le mani e anche a sacrificare un po' del proprio tempo.

Rivolgo quindi un appello a tutti quelli che hanno a cuore le sorti di questa sezione, affinchè rompano gli indugi e partecipino anch'essi a questo importante momento di autogoverno.

Penso in particolare a tutti quelli che negli ultimi tempi hanno sollevato critiche o riserve riguardo al modo in cui la sezione è stata fin qui gestita, perchè il loro stimolo possa diventare un contributo costruttivo allo sviluppo ed al miglioramento di questo spazio.

Penso, ovviamente, anche a tutti i moderatori in carica, che voglio comunque pubblicamente ringraziare per lo scrupolo e l'impegno che hanno profuso nel lavoro che hanno fin qui svolto, in un momento estremamente difficile e delicato.

Penso a tutti i moderatori che si sono succeduti in questo compito negli anni precedenti, perchè il loro contributo di esperienza sarebbe di grandissimo aiuto, ma anche alle decine di forumisti che, con i loro interventi nelle varie discussioni, hanno contribuito in modo fondamentale a rendere questo posto uno dei migliori siti di informazione finanziaria indipendente.

io qui devo umilmente ammettere la mia impreparazione nel trovare in Bloomberg quali cedole siano state pagate e quali no...
Usando però Telekurs io ricavo la videata che ti allego in cui sembra che le cedole siano sospese dal dal 31/7/2010 in poi. Se così fosse significherebbe che le cedole cumulate in pancia sarebbero 2 anni *13% (che è anche quello che io ho sempre saputo, ma ammetto mai verificato). Comunque anche l'assistenza di Bloomberg non è stata in grado di sapermi dire se c'è il modo di vedere quali cedole siano state effettivamente pagate e quali no (io credevo fosse possibile con il comando CSHF ma così non è...).

Se qualcuno riesce a dipanare l'enigma vince un aperitivo pagato dal sottoscritto!

Nel seguito trovate la risposta dell'IR di LLoyds: le cedole cumulate sono 4 semiannual, quindi con la ripresa dei pagamenti l'incasso a luglio sarebbe di 2x13+6,25


The Group was prevented from making any coupon and dividend payments on a number of our securities following the agreement of a restructuring plan with the European Commission in the context of a state aid review. The restriction period was in effect from 31 January 2010 to 31 January 2012.

The two securities which you highlighted below were part of the restricted hybrid capital securities that we outlined on 3rd November 2009, please see the announcement below:

Therefore any coupon payments that were scheduled in the EC Moratorium period were not paid, so you would have not received any coupons due between 31 January 2010 and 31 January 2012. Therefore I believe that four coupon payments should have been accumulated.

‘Interest on the Series A Sterling Capital Securities will be payable from and including 21 January 2009 to but excluding 22 January 2019 at the rate of 13 per cent. per annum, semi-annually in arrear on 21 January and 21 July in each year.’

As announced in our 2011 Full year Results, since 31 January 2010, the Group has been prohibited, under the terms of an agreement with the European Commission from paying discretionary coupons and dividends on certain of its hybrid capital securities. This prohibition ended on 31 January 2012. We recommenced payments on certain hybrid capital securities from 31 January 2012. Future coupons and dividends on these hybrid capital securities will only be paid subject to, and in accordance with, the terms of the relevant securities.

However, payments of any interest or dividend on a particular series or class of such hybrid capital securities can be resumed from the first coupon payment date after the EC moratorium expired (31 January 2012). The Group intends to be in a position to recommence payment of coupons and dividends on these hybrid capital securities after this date. We are obliged to adhere to any notification requirements in accordance with the terms of those securities.

The first scheduled coupon payment on these securities after the EC Moratorium period is on 23 July 2012, and we will provide notification of our intention as stipulated within the terms and conditions of this security.
