Mentre seguo il forum c'ho la finestra col video in backgroung dal Reichstag....
no scusate, volevo dire dal Bundestag :D.
Sento solo l'audio di fondo.
E devo dire che sentire discorsi politici accalorati in tedesco continua a farmi un certo effetto... provo sempre un brivido lungo la schiena...

Greece Speeds Up Uniform Payroll, Labour Reserve Still Unclear

Greek government attempts to convince German Chancellor Angela Merkel that is determined to fulfil its commitments to lenders.

A few hours after Greek PM George Papandreou returned in Athens, a cabinet meeting has been scheduled to discuss uniform payroll and labour reserve in the public sector.

From a preparatory meeting of top ministers emerges that the decisions would be implemented immediately.

However, on the issue of labour reserve, there are several problems regarding the implementation of the measure in the core public sector and finding objective criteria for the broader public sector.

These obstacles were discussed at last night’s meeting, and FinMin Evangelos Venizelos is reportedly prepared to discuss it with the Troika unit, which has already arrived in Athens.

Although government sources noted that the measure would not be discussed at today’s cabinet meeting, until the problem is fully clarified, the issue has been included in the official agenda.

Moreover, economic team sources reveal that the cuts in annual earnings would be 10%-50%, in order to apply the principle of “equal pay for the same job position and skills”.

Additionally, 30,000 civil servants would be put into labour reserve.

The suffocating pressures on Greek government recently has smooth the opposition stance of several ministers, while Papandreou is expected to make clear that there would be no room for retreat.
