Dear investors and business partners,
Oesterreichische Volksbanken-AG today announced details regarding the planned combination with Investkredit Bank AG. The combination will be effected by way of a proportional de-merger of the banking operations of Oesterreichische Volksbanken-AG into Investkredit Bank AG who will assume universal succession. The combination has been completed organisationally, with respect to legal requirement it should be completed in the second half of 2011.
Furthermore, it was announced that - subject to approval by the general assembly - the principal shareholders will redeem the first tranche of the participation capital held by the Republic of Austria (EUR 300 million).
