Tsipras says will be sworn-in as PM Monday 1700 GMT, new Cabinet to be sworn-in Tuesday
Elections in Greece suggest a striking paradox.
On the one hand, the greek electorate voted in the exactly the same government (Syriza-Anel) it had ushered back in January, as if nothing had happened since than.
On the other hand, it voted in a complete different set of policies, since (following the july bailout deal it accepted) this government will be called to implement exactly the opposite of what it was elected to do back in january.
This contradiction cannot stand and will soon have to be resolved: either the government will implement this policies and thus effectively transform itself into a center-left party, or it will fail to and therefore will fall from power sooner than later.
In short, the Greek political saga is set to go on.
