Lo ha detto il presidente francese Nicolas Sarkozy, da Tripoli, assicurando che l'intervento della Francia non e' frutto di ''alcun accordo'' e che Parigi non chiedera' ''alcuna preferenza''. Il capo dell'Eliseo ha quindi aggiunto che ''l'impegno'' della Nato ''non e' terminato'' e che ''c'e un lavoro da finire''.

ATHENS, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Greece will be stuck in recession for a fourth consecutive year in 2012, it's finance minister said on Thursday, revising previous government estimates that the downturn would bottom out this year.
The decline in economic activity, made worse by austerity measures aimed at repairing public finances and stopping deficits, has topped projections. It has also hindered the attainment of fiscal targets set by Greece's international creditors.
"We must realise ... that there is a cumulative recession over three years which will now become four years," Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos told parliament.
"We must all realise how deep the recession is to understand the divergence from the troika's (EU/IMF/ECB inspectors) projections in May 2011".
Athens slapped a new property tax to make up for falling behind its revenue and spending targets and meet this year's 7.6 percent of GDP deficit goal, crucial for its continued funding under an EU/IMF bailout agreed last May.
Inspectors from the European Union, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank are set to resume their fifth performance review next Monday before the next 8 billion euro loan instalment is released, without which Greece would default after October.
Based on the latest seasonally unadjusted data by the country's statistics service, the economy slumped 7.3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter after an 8.1 percent decline in the first three months of the year.
Venizelos pointed to widespread tax evasion to defended the government's move to slap other taxes on paychecks under a medium-term fiscal plan that was voted in July.
He said there were only 160,000 Greeks declaring income over 50,000 euros annually, and just 25,000 declaring income above 100,000 euros.
"This is fictitious, it is not the real picture. At least with property everybody pays based on location and value," he said.
Commenting on the recently announced property levy, Venizelos said the government opted for a measure that would have the smallest recessionary impact.
He said the average burden from the property tax would come to 4 euros per square metre, or 490 euros, and that the majority of 1.8 million households owning property would face a levy of 3 euros per square metre.
Based on 2009 data and prices, private investment in homes was estimated at 400 billion euros, or 520 billion if commercial shops are added, Venizelos said. He the Greek central bank estimated private real estate holdings at about 1.0 trillion euros.
"This (property) levy amounts to 0.2 percent of the estimate by the Bank of Greece on property. It is a minimal, minor insurance premium for property in view of the economic crisis," Venizelos said.

La Grecia restera' in recessione, per il quarto anno consecutivo, anche nel 2012. Lofa sapere il ministro delle Finanze, Evangelos Venizelos, che rivede al ribasso le stime del governo, secondo le quali la recessione avrebbe dovuto terminare quest'anno.
"Dobbiamo renderci conto - dice il ministro - che la recessione che subiamo da tre anni, durera' 4 anni". Per questo, spiega Venizelos in Parlamento, ci sono "divergenze con la troika", la squadra di ispettori, formata da Ue, Bce e Fmi che deve vigilare sui conti della Grecia per conto dei suoi principalicreditori.
Lunedi' prossimo la troika riprendera' l'esame dei conti greci, in vista della concessione di una nuova tranche da 8 miliardi di euro di prestiti internazionali. Senza quei soldi Atene entrera' in default a ottobre.

Se i 2012 sono venduti grosso modo al 50% di sconto è perche il mercato la considera una "puntata" alla stregua del nome della rubrica del suddetto Fugnoli.
Il mercato sospetta che le maturity che leggiamo sono potenzialmente non valide più per nessuno, per chi swappa e chi non swappa...
E io non so decidermi se rientrare, ovviamente sulle brevissime.

Borse europee in deciso rialzo dopo mossa Bce, balzano i bancari

15 settembre (Reuters) - Le borse europee hanno ampliato i guadagni dopo che la Banca centrale europea ha annunciato che, assieme alle altre banche centrali, reintrodurrà nel quarto trimestre le operazioni di finanziamento in dollari a tre mesi.
Sono le banche a trainare le piazze europee, con l'indice di settore che ha registrato un balzo dopo la notizia e intorno alle 15,40 sale del 3,8%.
Le banche italiane sono tra quelle che registrano i migliori guadagni, superate però da BNP Paribas , che sale di oltre il 14%. In forte rialzo anche Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE: Quotazione) (+9,1%) e Societè Generale (+7,3%).
L'unica eccezione è UBS (-9%), penalizzata dalla notizia del trader che ha causato una perdita stimata in due miliardi di dollari.
L'indice benchmark FTSEurofirst 300 sale del 2,3%.
