TDF sent out a notice regarding the FUEGO27 restructuring, pushing forward the Early Consent Deadline to November 27th or when 75% of bondholders accept the offer, whichever comes first. In a press release issued by the province (see attached), TDF announced that by the original Early Consent Deadline, November 9th, 60% of eligible bond holders had accepted the offer, falling short of the minimum threshold of 75% specified by the prospectus for the offer to be accepted. Therefore, the province pushed forward the Early Content Deadline to the earlier time between (i) November 27th at 5:00pm EST or (ii) when 75% of eligible bondholders accept the offer. We maintain our view in accepting the offer as a holdout strategy does not seems as an option, yet the news is not positive for the credit, backing our UW stance.
