Paul Gallagher SC, for AIB, said that if the legal challenge failed, the bank would have no liability to make the coupon payments; but as the case was continuing, the bank wanted directions from the court as the coupon payments were due on Saturday.
The bank was prepared to consider paying the relevant sum into an escrow account pending the outcome of the case, he added.
The application arose in the continuing challenge by a Cayman Islands investment firm representing some junior bondholders in AIB to an order secured by the Finance Minister from the High Court last April.

Che Aurelius possa trattare un accordo per sé è possibile, però credo che la chiave di lettura dell'articolo sia in questi 2 paragrafi, ovvero chiedere alla corte di far garantire i fondi per il coupon in attesa dell'esito finale, AIB ha anticipato l'audizione provvedendo spontaneamente:

a quanto si riesce a vendere perchè mi devo decidere prima di restare col cerino in mano (e naturalmente con un loss da paura) o si può aspettare ancora, pareri?

Che Aurelius possa trattare un accordo per sé è possibile, però credo che la chiave di lettura dell'articolo sia in questi 2 paragrafi, ovvero chiedere alla corte di far garantire i fondi per il coupon in attesa dell'esito finale, AIB ha anticipato l'audizione provvedendo spontaneamente:

vorrei tanto interpretarla anche io alla stessa maniera.....ma qui sembra che 1) Aurelius ha chiesto la sospensione 2) il giudice decide sulla richiesta di sospensione di Aurelius venerdì 3) nel frattempo AIB ha provveduto a depositare i soldi a garanzia su un Escrow Account, onde evitare default. Se è così, fatico a non pensare che siano già d'accordo...:-(

Lunedì c'era denaro a 14, venerdì (per cui magari non fa tanto testo) 9,9... sono in attesa della richiamata, se fanno presto riporto la quotazione

Allora oggi c'è denaro a 9.5 e lettera a 12. Ci sono anche 2 controparti che espongono denaro a 13 e 14 ma sicuramente farlocche, poiché le stesse espongono lettera più bassa del proprio denaro.
