WestLB Hybrid

Guys, I sold my WestLB hybrids. My guesses were wrong, they will post a bigger loss for 2009. Hybrids and upper tier 2 will be written down by 10%. No interest will accrue while they are written down. Also, the whole upper tier 2 has to be written up and deffered interest on upper tier2 must be paid up, until hte hybrids can be written up. I would expect no interest accrual until at least 30.06.2012. Also there is still much uncertainty about the future of WestLB.

Short: They have had a good run, but now I will liquidate most of my position.

Mais, è ovvio che le banche tirino acqua al proprio mulino, per non dover callare le tier1. Questi report hanno solo valenza ricognitiva... Contano ancora meno dei buy/sell sulle azioni. E' solo propaganda...

Poi, per carità la regola è sempre vendi e poi pentiti

Che l'analista scriva su commissione della banca. Che poi ci becchino e' un altro paio di maniche, ma sono analisi meritevoli di essere lette per potersi formare una view.
